Lets talk toes to bar

Let’s talk Toes to Bar — and no, it’s not just about your core.


Most people think this is an ab movement, but it actually starts with your lats and shoulders.

Think: rib cage to belly button, then push down on the bar to lift your legs.

It all starts with the kip swing — gliding through the “window,” then pushing back.


Once you've got that rhythm, you can start raising the legs, bit by bit, until those toes hit the bar.

Need a progression?

✅ Start with kip swings

✅ Build into leg raises

✅ Then try single-leg touches

✅ Eventually — full toes to bar


And remember: if your bum doesn’t come behind the rig, there’s no space for your feet to touch. That’s a no rep.(Sorry Scott… still a no rep. 😅)
