The Sixty7Six Games are officially happening on May 17th, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring a brand new style of competition to the Perth fitness community.
This event has been designed to feel different from the typical local competition.
One of the biggest differences?
The workouts will not be released until the night before the event.
If you’ve ever taken part in the CrossFit Open, you’ll know exactly why we love this idea. The anticipation, the excitement, and the energy that comes from walking into a workout without weeks of planning or practicing.
When you arrive on competition day, everyone will be on the same playing field.
You’ll hear the workout, step onto the floor, and give it everything you’ve got.
It’s about grit, effort, and embracing the challenge in the moment.
But the Sixty7Six Games is more than just a competition.
We’re also creating a community event with a market showcasing some of the best businesses from the Perth Hills. So far, 10 local vendors have confirmed, and we’ll have music, great energy, and plenty happening throughout the day.
For athletes considering entering, here are a few key things to know.
If you are able to compete in the RX division in the CrossFit Open, you’ll be able to compete in RX at the Sixty7Six Games. The weights have been designed to be challenging but achievable.
There will be no ring muscle-ups programmed, making the workouts more accessible to a wider group of athletes.
And if you’re wondering about skipping ropes — don’t worry. We’ll provide those for the workouts.
The competition will include three divisions:
• Beginner• Intermediate• RX
Our goal is to create an event where athletes of all levels can step onto the floor, challenge themselves, and enjoy the experience.
If you’ve been thinking about entering a competition but wanted something a little different, the Sixty7Six Games might be exactly what you’re looking for.
Tickets are now live.
Grab a partner and we’ll see you on May 17th.
