MINDSET – “You can do everything—just not all at once”

If you’re coming back from injury, building strength in a specific lift, or working on a new skill, remember: progress is absolutely possible—but it requires smart choices and a bit of patience.
You can still do classes and still work towards your personal goals. It just might mean making small adjustments and prioritising certain movements.
For example, I know my knee doesn’t love certain exercises, so I pick my one hard effort in a workout. If I want to go heavy on deadlifts, I’ll take the row lighter or pace myself more on burpees. It’s not about holding back—it’s about being intentional.
Showing up is important—but how you show up matters even more. Being intentional with your training means listening to your body, knowing your goals, and making smart choices that support long-term progress—not just short-term wins.
It’s not about going all out in every session. It’s about choosing where to push and where to pull back. Prioritising a movement. Modifying when needed. Practicing a skill with purpose. These are the things that build real, lasting change.
If you’re unsure which part of the workout to ease up on, or where you should push a little harder, reach out to us as coaches. That’s what we’re here for. We’re always more than happy to help you train smarter, stay safe, and continue making progress—one solid choice at a time.
